Field Stone Border Collies (FSBC) was formed to use Border Collie talents in providing exceptional  dogs for Veterans and for family pets well over 15 years ago. We are no longer actively breeding Border Collies, but ARE using this website to help you learn about Border Collies and to give you information about how to choose a breed that could be right for you, how to choose a breeder and a puppy, and how to navigate puppy challenges using the LEGS (LEARNING, ENVIRONMENT, GENETICS and SELF) Model of Family Dog Mediation. We also have information for breeders on topics they find interesting and may even struggle with.

Our dogs have been bred for the intellect, stamina and loyalty that Border Collies are known for, and we have cultivated traits in our breeding program that are uniquely desirous for the Border Collie dog. The dogs in our kennel, and their offspring,  have displayed solid genetic and health traits due to responsible and knowledgeable breeding techniques. Our Dams and Sires have been Paw Print Genetics OFA and/or PENN tested. All of our dogs are American Border Collie Association (ABCA) registered.

The dogs and puppies from the FSBC kennel have been part of our family, handled with love and respect from the moment of birth. An owners’ choice to raise their FSBC pup supporting their innate Border Collie traits is supported by our foundation in breeding and handling.
